Focus and Scope
Nexus of Learning is an academic platform that focuses on the study, development, and innovation of learning at the elementary school level. Nexus of Learning views the learning process as an interconnected nexus of strategies, media, management, curriculum, and evaluation that intersect and collectively contribute to improving the quality of basic education.
The scope of studies covered by Nexus of Learning includes learning strategies that examine innovative, contextual, and student-centered approaches, models, and methods in elementary education; instructional media that address the development and utilization of both conventional and technology-based learning media to enhance the effectiveness and attractiveness of learning; learning and/or educational management that discusses planning, implementation, classroom management, and institutional management to support effective and sustainable learning; curriculum and instruction that focus on the implementation, development, and evaluation of curricula and their relationship to the learning process in elementary schools; and the evaluation of learning in elementary schools, which examines the assessment of learning processes and outcomes, evaluation instruments, and the use of evaluation results for continuous improvement of learning.
Through the integration of these areas of study, Nexus of Learning is expected to serve as a scientific reference for educators, researchers, and education practitioners in developing high-quality, relevant, and adaptive learning practices in elementary education.
